APPLY: 2023 Guinness Undergraduate Scholarship For Nigerian Students

The 2023 Guinness Undergraduate Scholarship for Nigerian students has been announced, and applications are now open. This scholarship program is designed to support bright and talented Nigerian students who are currently enrolled in universities or polytechnics in Nigeria.

The scholarship is open to students who are studying in the fields of science, engineering, and technology. The aim of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students who are in need of it, and to help them achieve their academic goals.


To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be Nigerian citizens, currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program in a recognized university or polytechnic in Nigeria, and have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5.0 point scale or its equivalent.

The scholarship covers the cost of tuition fees and a maintenance allowance of N200,000 per academic year. It is tenable for the duration of the undergraduate program, provided the beneficiary maintains the required academic standard.

To apply for the scholarship, interested students are required to visit the Guinness Nigeria website and complete the online application form. Applicants are also required to submit the following documents:

  • Admission letter from a recognized Nigerian university or polytechnic
  • Academic transcripts
  • A letter of identification from their local government of origin
  • A letter of recommendation from their current institution
  • A statement of intent, not exceeding 500 words, outlining their personal goals, academic aspirations, and future career plans.

The deadline for the submission of applications is 30th June 2023, and successful applicants will be contacted via email.
